Healthy, youthful, glowing skin!

Our skin is the largest organ of the body, so we must take good care of it. Below are some habits I have incorporated into my lifestyle to keep my skin healthy, beautiful, and looking youthful. You can try these as well and make them habits 🙂

  • Drink lots of water
  • Eat well; have nutritious meals. Eat fruits and drink vibrant smoothies
  • Wear less makeup
  • Get good sleep
  • Apply organic face masks using ingredients from the kitchen (here’s another blog I wrote on home made face masks – link)
  • Use a facial steamer
  • Have a good skincare routine you can follow everyday
  • Use facial tools to help tone/massage/lift your skin
  • Treat yourself with a facial by a professional
  • Never tug on or rub your skin roughly. Be gentle
  • Being aware not to frown or make excessive facial expressions that can cause lines/wrinkles
  • Only touch your face after you’ve washed your hands
  • Working out. Sweating is great for the skin!
  • Managing stress well
  • Practicing mindfulness
  • Being happy! Smile, laugh =)
